I first heard about Tower Guard when I was invited to join the organization.

What made you apply to Tower Guard? What does Tower Guard's purpose mean to you?
I joined Tower Guard because I wanted to contribute to making MSU’s campus a more accepting place through hands-on involvement. The organization’s purpose resonates with me deeply, especially because of my personal experiences growing up gay in an unaccepting environment. Being part of Tower Guard allows me to help create a more inclusive space for others who may feel out of place or marginalized.
What does your position on Executive Board do?
As one of the Run Chairs, I help organize and oversee Tower Guard's biggest event of the year—the walk, run or roll 5k. This event raises awareness for the Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities (RCPD), and garners support for making MSU’s campus more inclusive. Additionally, through sponsorships, we raise funds to benefit the RCPD.
